U5 Recreational Information

General U5 Information

Children Born in 2019
Ball size 3
In lieu of soccer cleats the player is permitted to wear gym/tennis shoes
Player must wear shin guards
6 players to a team, 3 on the field at a time
2 10-minute halves with a 5 minute half-time
Coach allowed on field for limited instruction during play
No more than 1 practice per week, limit 45 minute duration
Focus on dribbling, stopping the ball and keeping the ball on the pitch.
We will not be practicing or performing throw-ins, goal kicks or corner kicks this season.
